Well...Sean  has a new home.  Mike Albers, the OES Rescue treasurer, and Sean's foster dad, in Memphis left yesterday to drive Sean to South New Jersey (how's that for a trip!!) and turned him over to Sue Ferchak, the OES webmaster and chief fundraiser.  She kept Sean for part of the day while waiting for his new mom, Maureen Marques, from Middletown, RI.  She picked him up and should be on her way home with him now.  Susan sent me a couple of pics of Sean with his new mom and he looked very happy!

We owe a big thanks to the OES Rescue Network (http://www.oesrescuenetwork.org) for all of their help in getting Sean from the shelter and then to his new home!

Sean is home now in Rhode Island.  He seems happy and loves meeting new people.  We hit traffic on route 95 in Connecticut so it took an extra two hours to get home.  Sean was great in the car but we did stop several times to walk around.
Sean has meet some of the neighbors all bearing gifts.  He is looking for a rug to rest on...  I have wood floors so the only rug he was able to find was in the bathroom!  I have a crate set up for him in the living room that he explored and put all his new chew bones and toys in for save keeping!   I am introducing the kitties one at a time for 5 minutes or so.   He is very intense around them so far and has only licked them!  GOOD BUY SEAN!!   He is such a sweetheart!
