Adopted! Daisy now Maddie  Daisy was dropped off in Picayune, MS at a shelter by a breeder who said she had to leave town.  Sadly, we aren’t even sure that Daisy was her name.   And no information was provided on her accurate age or any vet records.  We do know she was used as a breeder dog though!   Just remember sometimes when you buy a dog from breeders, they treat the dogs that produced all their money making puppies with complete disrespect when they are done with them.  We believe Daisy was 11 years old.  We sent sweet Hillary, who had an application in with us to pick the dog up from the rescue/shelter volunteer that met her half way.  After a day, we were informed that Daisy had some tumors that needed attending to and she had a  slight bloody discharge as well from her uterus.  After a bath and full spay and tumor removal she was doing much better.   Hillary now has her best buddie by her side every chance she is not at work.  Daisy’s hair has grown out a bit and she is looking gorgeous now and finally being treated like a best friend instead of a money making machine.   We are so thrilled Daisy now Maddie and Hillary found each other.  They are happily living together in Mobile, Alabama.

Adopted! Boo now Earl  Boo was turned in from a Louisiana couple who were no longer able to take care of their growing baby boy.  Each month he was getting bigger and bigger and the owner recently was in a wreck and dealing with back issues and not working.  So as much as they had spoiled him, they came to the difficult decision to give him up so he could get the home he needed.  Boo made the trip to Atlanta and was in foster care until our treasurer came to visit me (the Placement Director) and she met Boo.   Our new treasurer, Tracy recently lost one of her pack and has a younger dog and a sweet senior, but typically ran a pack of 3 dogs.  Tracy has training background and wanted a dog to do coursing and agility which she enjoys doing with her sheepdogs travelling around to weekend events.  When she met Boo she realized he might learn well and it was a good time for her pups to get a new brother (she normally had all girls).   Oh boy has Boo now Earl had the time of his life.  He plays daily with his sister Savannah and has already been to some weekend coursing events.   Tracy and Earl and Savannah and Sophie have a wonderful life ahead of them.   Earl now lives in Smyrna, Georgia.
